Married life - at least this month

It is really great being married. To finally know that my best friend that I've loved since day one is now my very own forever, and legally. We had the most beautiful wedding set in a park gazebo in downtown Savannah, Georgia. Does life get any better? It was perfect. Our friends and family surrounded us and we couldn't have been more thrilled to have them by our sides.

The honeymoon was fantastic as well, as honeymoons probably always are. We spent a week basking in the sun on the beautiful island of Kauai. We snorkeled, laid out by the pool, drove around in a convertible.... it was incredible. And those were the times I can talk about! =)

Now we're back home and have been here for the past three weeks. Life isnt really different, although I find it more difficult to ever get mad at Neil. My sense of compassion has increased, as well as my tolerance. I don't know how long this will last, but it's made it a month so far.

Anyway, now that life is settling down, things are getting to be a bit more normal again. Soon, our favorite tv shows will be brand new again. Our schedule will be filled with sitcoms and with anticipated movie openings. We'll be getting ready for my best friend's wedding, a few birthdays, and our first major holidays as a married couple will be arriving very soon. Now I will officiallly be able to use this blog as a funnel for my angst, frustrations, upsets, and of course, praise I feel towards anything special going on in my life.
